Hello:

Does anybody know what size turf tires I can put on a 4wd B7200 HST.I know the threads have to match to prevent wheel lock.

Thanks

Kip

Turf tire size on a 4WD B7200HSD, for the front would be 20.5 x 8.00-10, 4pr(ply rating). For the rear, would be a choice of either 29 x 12.00-15 4pr -or- 31 x 13.5-15 4pr.
The difference in the rears isn't much. A little taller and wider of the latter. Bear in mind, that though there is a potential wheel-lock significance, there is also a window that allows one to administer slightly different size tires to the same tractor. This factor is built into the drive line as one must realize that as you use the tractor, the tires wear. As the tires wear, they lose circumfirential size (they get smaller). That is why the two different rear sizes really do not matter much...they're designed into the tractor's drive line spec's. I personally have the turfs on mine, utilizing the 29 x 12.00-15's in the rear, of the tractor that is. Been on since new in 1987, with still about 3/4 tread depth as was new. The biggest factor about sizing tires, is to keep the same circumference ratio between varying sets. I also have a set of R4's for the tractor, bigger all the way around with no tire bucking or lock-up, and still fitting in the fender line...but boy does she pull!
Hope this helps you out...
Willie H.

I believe they used 6-12 fronts and 8.3-16 on the rear for ag tires. ....
